Naked baby!!!!

Tayton has been getting so big so fast. Not really in weight (11 months almost and still in 3-6 month clothes and Size 2 diapers) but mentally. He is of course getting cuter and cuter. :O) He makes me smile so much and just brings pure joy into all of our lives. He is such a sweet boy and always so happy, even when he is spitting up! He brings so much happiness into each day and I just love to wake up to him and his sweet coos and daaadaaa and mmmmmaaaammaaaaaa. ( I rarely get that one, but when I do it makes my heart melt.) He started nodding his head the other day when you ask him a question and he wants to answer. Tonight for dinner we ate pizza on a palate on the floor while watching Pinoccio and Braddoc was done with his and left and Tayton found it and got into a piece (cut up) before we could stop him, he ate the whole piece and of course spit up, lol but he seemed to enjoy it and the pizza sauce all over his face was proof of that. He gets into everything now and of course his brothers love to share.
Braddoc gave him a piece of Bread the other day (we arent feeding him wheat till he is a year, so obviously Braddoc didnt understand that memo)
Hello sweet baby!

Some Landon thrown in because he was so stinking cute that day too!

Oh I LOVE that smile!!! How did I get so blessed with such a sweet sweet baby boy?! He is just amazing! I seriously have AMAZING kids!

I could just eat him up all day long, lol my face is a bit creepy in this picture, Landon was telling me something so I went to turn to see him at the same time he took the pic.

Look at that face, he looks like he could read your mind and understand your soul. He is so incredibly sweet and such a doll baby.

Braddoc reminds me of Leeny from Of Mice and Men, he loves to cuddle cuddle cuddle Tayton, sometimes a little too much.

Love all of their faces in this picture. Tayton looks in pain, Braddoc looks mad, and Landon looks like "what the heck?" I just thought it was so cute! So fits all of their personalities, especially Braddoc, I get that face from him alot.

Shenanagins!!!

A third of our yard is dirt, we planned on putting in grass last year, but when both A/C's went out the grass got put on the back burner, :O) so now here we are with a dirt back yard and boys. So whats more fighting then letting them take the house to the dirt and make mud? They have a blast everytime I let them do it. Tayton already ruined the carpet with his spit up, :O) so it doesnt really matter when they come in the back door with mud on them. Okay it really does matter, but its not the end of the world, lol it will be when we get new carpet but for now, why not let boys be boys and enjoy the mud. They love it! Too bad they are not to found of getting cleaded up afterwards, because NOW the water is cold, it wasnt cold when they were playing in it, but it was when mommy tried to use it to clean them up. Poor Braddoc's teeth were chattering but he refused to come in, they were having so much fun creating crazy mud concotions. A few days after this I was putting Tayton down for nap and before I left I saw Braddoc come in a couple of times to fill up his cup of water, I was trying to get tayton ready so I just thought he was drinking water and filling it up more, (cause thats what he does) so I didnt think anything more about it, when I came back downstairs, I went out to say hi to them and stopped dead in my tracks, they both had mud CAKED to their heads. It was seriously like mud helmets on their heads, and it was all over their faces. Neither of them had their shirts on the their shirts were in the puddle of mud, and their chests had mud all over them. Apparently since I told them that they couldnt use the hose to play in the mud they decided they would fill up their cups with water and dump them in the dirt to make mud. I got to hand it to them, they were at least following my orders and creative in their approach to a way around it. :o) Ahh boys!!! I wish I got picture of it, but I was just so stunned I had to go get them cleaned up and didnt even think about taking a picture.
So cute

Lake de Jenkins

Who knew there could be so much water in my back yard?

having a blast!

Freezing Beebers!!! poor guy, dont you just want to cuddle him?

A day in the life of......

Here is an insight into my life. Its such a wonderful life and I have such wonderful boys. Here is what a random messy moment looks like in our house. My constantly telling them to clean up and them ignoring me and going about life. Taytors is getting so big, (mentally, not physically lol). he gets into everything and wants to share everything. He is such a sweet boy.

Braddoc lines up everything, i find patterns like this all over the place, with every kind of toy he has. I love seeing it, for some reason it makes my heart soar and takes my breath away for a minute, but a wonderul mom moment.

Landon has had spirit weeks all month at preschool. This day was Dr Seuss day and he looked through his books and picked out "Thing 1". He made such a cute thing one. He got a kick out of wearing Braddocs pants.

I LOVE THIS LIFE!!! Truely love this life!

Bus ride and Pottery Painting

A friend of mine was taking her son on the city bus, and the night before she was talking about going and I "weasled" my way in. :O) So Landon, Levi and Gracie got to take the city bus. It was quit an adventure. And a blast I am glad we did it. I told my friend who organized it that Im a good mom cause I have friends who are good moms and set up such fun things. :O) I am blessed in all walks of my life.

After preschool last thursday Landon and I went with someone his friends and their mommies (my friends) and rode the CAT bus. When we first got on the bus their eyes got so big, they were ESTATIC, it was so much fun to watch!! The kiddos really enjoyed it. My friend Candice made them little papers with the bus number on it so they could watch for the bus. It was an adventure, we got off about 3 stops too early then we had to walk, part of the way there was no side walk so we walked on the dirt, which Landon thought was a whole nother adventure, the journey to the bus :O). Then we saw what we thought was our bus, but it wasnt, lol we didnt find this out till after I RAN in slip ons, to catch it. After the other 2 mommys caught up, I had all 3 kiddos, who ran and caught up with me and were already on the bus, :O) They flagged me down before I paid, they told me wrong bus, lol Well I got my work out in!!! Hahaha no it wasnt that bad.

So we walked to the next stop where we discovered we missed the bus so we had to wait on the side of Craig rd. Where there is like NOOOO side walk, ok well there is but not enough of one to not scared the daylights out of a mom who has a very active little boy, and waited. I was so worried that Landon was going to do something crazy like get overly excited and throw himself in the rode and get hit by a car, I know overly dramatic but it was so nerve racking.

It was a true adventure and I am so glad we had the chance to do it. We rode from one end of town to the other and then stopped at a pottery place and Landon painted a whale. Its a very hippy whale!! I cant wait to see the finished product, he was very intent on the whale (I had to covience him NOT to do a robot, I really wanted him to do a plate, "You could have a cool plate you decorate and all Braddoc would have was a plastic one." even that didnt work, So whale it was then.)

On the way home Landon fell asleep in the car, which never happens, he was worn out. Then when we got home we walked over to a friends house, (well he rode his scooter) who was having a lemonade stand and got a lemonade and a popsicle and he got to play with some friends. We got home in enough time to scarf down some dinner that wonderful daddy made before we rushed out the door to daddys baseball game that he coaches for primary. It was a crazy busy day and after the boys went to bed, I fell asleep super early on the couch, lol guess I was worn out too.

.

Waiting for the bus, looking at their papers trying to find the right bus.

Waiting some more (we were 15 minutes early, lol and didnt know it.) Landon had a Dr Seuss day at school that day so his hair is super crazy because he was dressed like Thing 1. :O) We didnt have time to uncrazify (is that a word) it before we had to go catch the bus.

Such cute kids.

Waiting for bus 119.

On the bus, Landon was just in awe staring out the window.

So excited. they played musical chairs everytime the bus stopped. I dont think the bus driver liked it very much!

look at those sweet smiles.

Theres our bus!!1 Yeah!!! (I couldnt get it moved any hire up)

At the Artful Potter, making his whale.

What a cutie pie!

So serious about the painting! It was very sweet!

What a good day!!!

Missionary homecoming

We recently had an Elder (Meza) from our Stake return from his mission. He lost both of his parents before he left and was the only memeber of his family. His sister did not support him on his mission so we can back to no family. When he was on his mission, while in the MTC, he was running and jumped off a curb and shattered his leg, they thought he was going to have to have it amputated but fortunately he was able to keep the leg, after 7 ( think it was that many, maybe more) surgeries. He wound up spending his whole mission in the MTC being a missionary over the internet and teaching the gosple in chat rooms, he actually baptised several people doing this. Hearing his story shared to our stake during his whole mission was just amazing, I told Landon about him every time we learned something new, so we kind of felt like we knew him already.
As a stake we were invited to go to his homecoming, so I had the boys make a banner for him and we got to attend his homecoming. It was very nice, i cried when he came into the gym, such an amazing guy. The spirit was very strong, it was very overwhelming. The poor guy didnt know what to do, the whole gym was packed and of course as for any LDS event there was a TON of food. It was a wonderful night and I am glad that the boys got to go and experience this, when we left Landon said, "Mom that was a cool missionary. I cant wait to go to Jareds missionary thing." :O)
Tayton was "helping" made the banner.
Making the banner for Elder Meza.

My blessings

I was reading in my journal of the things that I have been keeping up with in our family and reading my "facebook posts" that tend to keep my alaska family more informed then a blog. However, I always feel the need to also put some stuff on here. I have been having a wonderful month with my children, I truly enjoy being a mom, its the best thing ever. My heart aches when I find out about mothers who have lost their children, especially mothers who dont have the gosple in their lives to understand that they can and will be with there children again. There is a mother on the news who killed herself and her kids because she drove the car into the Hudson river. I just cant imagine something like that. There is another mother who lost her one year old today because of drowning. She rushed her baby to the hospital but it was too late. My heart breaks for her. It reminds me to cherish my children, to truly take in each minute with them. To enjoy each and every bit of them, especially the crazy times because I know that I will miss them when they are gone. I went to do the laundry last night and thought to myself, will it ever end? And then I smiled and thought "No and I am going too cherish each adn every little piece of clothing that goes through my washer and dryer because that means that I have 3 amazing blessings that are in my life." :) Here are my blessings:
