Ralph Waldo Emerson said "The years tell us much that the days never knew." I think about this quote on a daily basis. Some days I feel like nothing I have done that day mattered, that I didn't accomplish much or that I was really trying hard to be a nice, patient mom and I remember that everything I do matters, that each of these days is a piece in the immense puzzle of my kids lives and mine. Its like those pictures you see of beautiful vistas and then you look closer and the big picture is actually made up of a bunch of little tiny pictures, each one beautiful and unique in its own way. Each day matters, each moment matters, no matter how small it may seem it all matters in the long run.
I am trying my best to enjoy my journey here on this earth and I feel so blessed that I get to share in this journey with such an amazing family. This blog is my way of keeping up with each day, to help me stay accountable for all I do as a mom and to remember each blessed day that adds its part to the big picture.
