We have had a busy summer this year and Landon and Braddoc being best buddies decided that they wanted to have a combined Pirate Birthday party.
I made them a Pirate of the Caribean cake.
And we had their party in the sweltering heat of Vegas, at the park.
I was afraid on the walk from my friends fridge to the party that the cake would melt, it was that hot.
Noah and I dressed as Pirates (I was pregnant with Aowyn and thought I was going to die of heat exhaustion) and we had stuff for the kids to use to dress up too.
The kids went on a treasure hunt, following a pirate map and found a treasure box with necklaces, gold, jewelry and candy.
We also had a pirate ship Pinata... you have to have a Pinata!
We had popsicles and dum dums and I think Tayton ate about 20 of eac
Our Pirate family.
My parents got them a mini trampoline for their birthdays and they were in seventh heaven.
