Sweet (or salty) dreams

I go to get Landon up this morning and the first thing he says to me is, "I want chicken and french fries." This is the second morning in a week that he has asked for chicken and french fries first thing in the morning. We go out as a family once a month to either Red Robin or Carls Jr (both places Noah and I can get gf burgers) and Landon always get chicken and french fries. I guess he is telling us its that time again. :O)

A childs love

As Landon and I are saying his prayers tonight he is trying to tell me something. He is saying the prayer and after I tell him to bless mommy and daddy, and Landon and Braddoc he starts saying something over and over, I cant figure it out and I cant calm him down so I finish the prayer for him and go to put him in his bed. "NO MOMMY!!! I said bless Marlon" (our realtor)
So we have to say a whole nother prayer to bless Marlon. Then I am tucking him into bed and I sing him a song and tell him "Goodnight, I love you sleep good, Ill see you in the morning." He grabs my hand as I am walking away and says "good night sleep good, see you mornin...." and then he says something that sounds like see you in the mornin again but I know its not, so I ask him to look at me and say it again and take his cup out of his mouth. So he does and he says "goodnight, sleep good, see you mornin, good night marlon, bless marlon."

He really likes Marlon, and I am greatful. Our realtor is in our stake presidency and is a very wonderful, nice, genuine man and I know that Landon can see that and he really likes him. :O) Obviously he has made a spot in Landons heart. :O)

The mind of Landon

The latest nap time fun! I get home just as Noah is going to check on Landon because he is crying and he tells me to come and look in the room. This is the site we see, his pants and diaper off and on the floor with many wipes all around, as well as his blanket and pillow on the floor, all of which are soaking wet and a huge wet spot in his bed. "I pee pee my bed!!!" Oh boy did you!! I go over to get him up and begin work on the fixing the bed so he can take a nap when I step in a wet spot on the floor and see pee spray all over the floor. He apparently took everything off and then peed every where. Oh I laughed and laughed! Poor Noah has still not figured out laughing really does make it lots easier!!! :O) It truely was a funny site to see! Ah the joy of boys!

Mommy: I love you Landon
Landon: Um, I love CARS.

Mommy beautiful! (everything is beautiful, his dolls, his food, his clothes, his juice. He tilts his head and in a soft precious voice says Mommy it beautiful. Or awww beautiful.)

He wants to see his dirty diaper after I change it when he takes his nap. And he likes to look at his potty in the potty after he goes (anyone elses kid do this or is mine the rare exception?)

I be silly, mommy, I crazy!

Lusic (music)

Our realtors name is Marlon and Landon loves him. When we pulled up to one of the houses too look at and Landon says "Where Marlon, mommy, where marlon?" It was too cute, it was the first time I heard him say his name. And the whole time we were in the house Landon was running around looking for Marlon and wanting Marlon to hold him. He would yell at him if Marlon was downstairs too tell him to come upstairs and he would go up to him and tell him, "Hold you!!!" It was very cute! Landon is a good judge of character!!!

We found a house!

We found a house and are putting in an offer. Wish us luck!! If its meant to be it will happen and if not then it wont. We really like it so hopefully it will work out!!!

Koolaid Kraziness!!!

This happened a few weeks ago and I have been trying to blog it forever, but there was always other more current things to blog so now that I have a few minutes...... :O)

Usually if Landon asks us for something to drink and we tell him to wait or not right now then he will go get the juice out and bring it to us. Sometimes he will go and get it before he even says anything. We had company over for dinner that night and Noah had made Fruit Punch Koolaid. I am sitting in the recliner feeding Braddoc when I hear the sound of gushing liquid. I look over to my left and into the kitchen where Landon is standing there with the look of utter shock on his face leaning over under to weight of the pitcher and koolaid pouring out all over the floor. By this time Noah has heard the sound and asks "what is that?" Looking at Landons face and seeing the bright red koolaid gushing all over the floor, I just started cracking up!!! It was the craziest thing ever and here I was laughing. I could not do much because I was feeding Braddoc, so Noah jumps up and goes in there, fussing at Landon....

Poor kid was just trying to get something to drink and it was too heavy and too big for him to carry it with out it spilling. The look on his face was priceless, I wish I could have gotten a picture, but red koolaid= stains and no time to take a picture. He was not trying to be bad or doing something he knew he should not, he was simply trying to assist us in getting him something to drink. I just kept thinking about "Dont get mad take a picture." It was refreshing to laugh so hard and I think it made the craziness of it a little bit more bearable, for me anyway, Noah was just mad. He had to move the fridge and the stove to clean up the mess. He was so busy cleaning that up and Landon had run off to play that we never cleaned up Landon. I saw what looked like a huge rash all over his legs the next morning, nope just koolaid and an early morning bath. :O)

Ahhhh kids! I have to admit I think laughing is a lot more fun then getting mad.
